Finally we have our winners! And it was not easy to pick! 79 photos (!) were submitted and we had to do quite some thinking and lots of math to figure out who the winners are. The judges were: Jeanny from the blog Zucker, Zimt und Liebe, Svenja Paulsen, a food and lifestyle photographer and of course Liz and I.
And here are our winners:
Overall 1st place:
Monika Topolka with her „Chocolate Hibiscus Truffles“.
We thought these looked absolutely delicious and we had never heard of an flower chocolate combo like that! You can find the recipe on her blog.
Overall 2nd place:
Anne Faber with her „Lentil Stew“.
We liked how she was able to make something unphotogenic as lentil stew look so pretty and soft. Please visit Anne’s blog here.
Overall 3rd place: Giulia Doyle with Audrey’s Shrimp Tacos
We thought Giulia did a really good job arranging the different shapes and colors into a gorgeous, graphic photo. To find out more about Giula’s recipes, please visit her blog.
We are also naming winners for the individual categories „edibility“, „originality“ and „aesthetics“. Here they are:
Winner Edibility: Frabisa with her Salsa de Tomate Casera
To find the delicious looking recipe, visit her blog here.
Winner Originality: Asri Pamuncar with „Chai Cupcakes“.
You want to know how to make these? Check out her blog!
Winner Aesthetics: Yulyan Parwati with „Rujak Mentimun“.
We are not sure what it is but it looks good! If you are good with languages, please try the recipe!
And last but not least, the Host Pick: Saskia Wanner with „Zitronenkuchen with White Chocolate“.
We like it because it is so simple, yet so good. Please find her recipe here.

Hi Liz & Jewels, what a spectacular collection of food blogs and pictures! I’m drooling over the pictures and can’t wait to try some of these? As you said, even a humble recipe of lentils can be made to look so delicious! That’s admirable.
It’s been over two months since I tried your chocolate mousse recipe..I still have to post the pictures 🙁
Sabine
